GBTechNet is a members only networking group that is specifically
geared toward business development. Each of the five (5) GBTechNet
groups are comprised of non-competing companies (12 to 25 people
per group) whose shared interest in the local tech community gives
them the ability to introduce one another to valuable new contacts.
By meeting on a regular basis, the individuals within each group
will get to know one another, talk about their businesses, and develop
a business referral network.
Although each group has developed their own meeting time/location,
guidelines on attendance, expectations from fellow members, etc.,
as a participant in GBTechNet, the general
policies and guidelines apply for each group.
An annual fee of $200 is designed to pay for the cost of refreshments
at each of the meetings.
Individuals will be placed in a GBTechNet group on a first-come,
first-served basis dependent on the availability within each group.
Preference is also given to organizations who are not already participating
in a GBTechNet group. Oversight for GBTechNet will be provided for
by the leadership of the GBTC's Business Advisory Committee and
GBTechNet Leadership Committees.
No
company may be represented in more than 2 GBTechNet Groups.
