PIT! - WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26TH (5:30PM - 8:30PM) The main event - here's where student entrepreneurs present their ideas on stage (1-2 minutes at the mic) and build a team. Each team must consist of 3-7 students and 1-3 "Advisors". The business advisors are provided by the GBTC. They are business professionals that come from a variety of fields - finance, law, technology, venture capital, and more. Their advice and mentoring is invaluable as you develop your business plans. At the end of this evening, each team will submit an Executive Summary which includes a listing of your team (students and advisors) and a brief description of your idea. Following "THE PIT", each team will create a 2-5 page business plan - plans must be submitted by April 9th at 5:00pm to melaniek@gbtechcouncil.org. All business plans will be reviewed and judged by a Selection Committee and up to seven (7) teams may be selected to compete in the FINALS. Finalists will be announced on Tuesday, April 15th. Plans will be judged according to the following criteria.
