To
sign up as an advisor, simply Register
Here for the Pit. By registering for the Pit, you are
automatically added to our Advisor list. Once you are signed
up and your name is added to our advisor list (below), students
may begin recruiting you before the Pit via email.
All
it takes is your energy, knowledge and a little of your time. Advisors
are expected to attend The
Pit, where you'll hear each team pitch their idea, and then
try to convince your favorite team why they should choose you as
their advisor.
Following
The Pit, advisors may meet with their teams to provide coaching/advice
as they develop their 2-5 page business
plan. This is where your knowledge is critical. And if you're
fortunate to have your team selected as a finalist, they'll need
some help crafting their 5-8 minute presentation.
Any
GBTC member (accountants, attorneys, high-tech professionals, financial
advisors, venture capitalists, bankers, marketing and sales professionals,
etc.) is eligible to participate as an advisor. Each team needs
at least one (1) advisor so Register
Now and help your team make it to The
Finals!
For
more information on becoming an advisor, please see our Advisor
