5/14/2008   How to Negotiate Successfully with Bullies and Nut Cases
How to Negotiate Successfully with Bullies and Nut Cases

This is not about tricks to manipulate naive sales prospects. It is about a set of techniques developed by experts over 25 years to enable successful negotiations between parties who are not necessarily friends, and may even be hostile, with a view to achieving agreement. They can be used to benefit form business opportunities or to resolve business disputes without court.

It focuses on problems, instead of people, interests or stakes, instead of positions, inventing solutions out of the box, and using fairness and objective criteria as guidance. The seminar also discusses dealing with two dozen or more common tactics and tricks, and also handling people who are mentally out of sorts, either situationally or longer term, and still achieving success.
