Four ETC companies have won the National Incubation Association (NBIA) “Outstanding Company of the Year” award: Cynergy Group of Baltimore (2006 winner), Social Solutions (2007 winner), Millennial Media (2008 winner)and CSA Medical (2009 winner) - four years in a row, a first in NBIA’s  history.

On May 28th from 2:30 - 3:30 pm, Mayor Sheila Dixon visited the ETC Canton to meet with the winners and tour the ETC. The formal ceremony and tour was followed by a small reception.

on June 20th and will be Baltimore’s first unconference.

In an unconference, participants determine the program on the
morning of the event by suggesting and voting on discussion topics.
The voting determines which topics become part of the conference.
