Members

Joining the GBTC is easy.  All you have to do is complete this online application and we’ll be in touch to let you know what next steps to take to Get Involved

If you haven’t already done so, you will want to come to one of our GBTC 101 Meetings.  It is a great way to learn more about the GBTC, how to take advantage of your membership, and meet a few members so you can start connecting right away.  We will also let you know about other upcoming events by adding you to our email lists so you can Get Connected with us.

Membership is based on your organizations industry and the number of full-time employees you have in the State of Maryland.

We have three (3) categories to choose from:
Technology Members
These are companies that generate at least 50% of their revenue from the research, development, manufacturing or sale of the following technology products:

  • Hardware
  • Software
  • Telecommunications
  • Internet Technology
  • Biotechnology products

If your company fits this description, determine your annual dues based on the number of full-time employees you have in the State of Maryland below (unfortunately we do not offer individual memberships): click here.

Partner Members
Partner companies are organizations who provide services to the technology industry, such as:

  • Accounting
  • Legal
  • Financial
  • Insurance/Benefits
  • Employment Services
  • Office equipment and Supplies
  • Venture Capital
  • Training
  • Real Estate
  • Marketing/Public Relations
  • Hospitality

Education, Government and Nonprofit (EGN) Members
To join as an education, nonprofit, or government member, your organization must be either:

  • An educational institution that provides a degree program or continuing education classes in computer science, information technology, Web design, telecommunications, or biotechnology.
  • Anonprofit organization whose mission affects or is affected by technology or education.
  • A state, local or federal government institution that takes a proactive role in technology development; or serves as a proponent of technology growth in the Greater Baltimore region.

All education, nonprofit, and government members pay a set annual fee of $800.
